COURSE INFORMATION
NJ State Training & Credentialing Requirements:
100 Hour Mandatory Training Requirement for Owners & Operators
The Training Credential is divided into 10 sessions, each containing distinct units of study. Each session is 8 hours long plus a practice of 20 hours. Participants can sign up for individual sessions or complete all 10 sessions and the Test/Praxis to earn their Operator Credential.
Session 1: Mission, Vision, Operator’s Bill Of Rights, Levels of Care Defined (8 Contact Hours)
Session 2: Fiscal Management, Developing the Budget, the New Economy Challenges & Opportunities, Protecting Assets (8 Contact Hours)
Session 3: Human Resources, Hiring Gems and New Employee Orientation (8 Contact Hours)
Session 4: Legislative Authority, Laws & Regulations (8 Contact Hours)
Session 5: Administrative Leadership, Management & Maintenance Best Compliant Practices (8 Contact Hours)
Session 6: Medication Supervision (8 Contact Hours)
Session 7: Documentation/ Record Management (8 Contact Hours)
Session 8: Nutrition (8 Contact Hours)
Session 9: Emergency Plans & Preparedness (8 Contact Hours)
Session 10: Health Maintenance & Monitoring Components of Care Fostering Harmony Care & Support
Session F: Test & Praxis Convert to 20 Contact Hours for Successful Completion
